This video shows how some home repairmen attempt to repair asphalt roofing shingles.  This home re-inspection by All Pro Home Inspections, shows some shoddy work in an attempt to fix some glaring problems around roof boots and attack vents. The proper way to patch an area with singles is to nail them down, not just chalk them as shown here. This home re-inspection probably saved the home buyer thousands of dollars in water leaks down the road.
